Ekaterina Aygün joins Metromod
This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Ekaterina to the Metromod team
Ekaterina will be focusing her research on the Russian artistic community in Istanbul with a PhD project exploring, among other aspects, the role of the Union of Russian Painters. Before joining the Metromod team, Ekaterina completed her master’s degree in history at Istanbul Bilgi University, Turkey, and she also has a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Oriental Studies at St. Petersburg State University, Russia. Her long interest in art history, architectural history and urban history combined with her experience in researching migrant writers make her a great addition to the team. Welcome Ekaterina!
